PALM SUNDAY: The Sunday of the Passion, April 9 

8:00 a.m. Liturgy of the Palms in Wells Hall, Procession to the chapel, Reading of the Passion, Holy Eucharist.
10:30 a.m. Liturgy of the Palms in Wells Hall, Procession to the church, Reading of the Passion, Holy Eucharist.
The Christ Church Choir and Organ.

 
Wednesday, April 12 
12:00 p.m. A quiet, spoken Holy Eucharist in the chapel.



MAUNDY THURSDAY, April 13 

7:30 p.m. LITURGY OF THE LORD’S SUPPER
The beginning of the tri-partite liturgy of the Sacred Three Days, this liturgy celebrates the institution of the Holy Eucharist,
the pouring of Christ’s life and love into the church through the sacrament of his Body and Blood.
A foot-washing is also celebrated at this liturgy, sign of Christian commitment
to serve the most vulnerable in our church and society.
The Christ Church Choir sings music of Hallock, Duruflé and Gounod.
 


GOOD FRIDAY, April 14 

12:00 p.m. Meditation on the Cross: Reading of John's Passion interspersed with poetry, organ music, silence and prayer.
7:30 p.m. COMMEMORATION OF THE LORD'S PASSION
The second part of the tri-partite liturgy of the Sacred Three Days, this liturgy commemorates
the passion and death of Jesus and brings before the assembly those who suffer injustice in the world today.
The cross is venerated as the sign of salvation and communion is served from the reserved sacrament.
Music with the Christ Church Organ.



HOLY SATURDAY, April 15

8:00 p.m. THE GREAT VIGIL OF EASTER
The conclusion of the tri-partite liturgy of the Sacred Three Days, this liturgy begins in the courtyard
with a blazing bonfire and candlelit procession into the church and continues with the telling of ancient stories,
baptism and baptismal renewal, and the first Eucharist of Easter – followed by a grand reception.
The church is ablaze with light as we raise our voices in thanksgiving
for the new Way of Life revealed in the resurrection of Jesus.
The Christ Church Choir, Festive Organ Music, Hymns and Psalms.


EASTER DAY: The Day of Resurrection, April 16
8:00 a.m. A quiet, spoken Holy Eucharist in the chapel.
10:30 a.m. Festival Sung Holy Eucharist with renewal of baptismal vows. 
The Christ Church Choir sings music of Gwyneth Walker, Peter Hallock and Alexander Brent Smith.
Music for trumpets and organ. 
A reception follows with the un-earthing of the Alleluia Scroll
buried at the beginning of Lent and an Easter egg hunt.
